Jack Ginnivan joins the rest of the Hawthorn family in farewelling Luke Breust after a glittering career as a small forward, and is possibly the player who would have the most to learn from Punky as he tries to recreate that role for the Hawks in future. His most prolific games have come when he worked hard to accumulate by getting high and then working back to half forward, though that role is mostly filled by Dylan Moore in this team. Perhaps his most natural role is the one that Breust perfected: supreme knowledge of positioning and timing to hit crumbs at pace with a scything finish.
