Archie Roberts has been one of the quiet success stories of an otherwise forgettable campaign for the Bombers in 2025. Perhaps it is playing senior footy on easy mode to be a rebounding half back flanker on a poor team whose midfield allows too many inside 50s for him to mop up, but he has accomplished much in the first half of the season without the fanfare of more highly-credentialed teammates. Fantasy coaches certainly notice this kind of player, and his stocks have continued to rise even as those of Essendon as a club remain in the basement.
