George Wardlaw has come back into the North Melbourne side after injury lay-off at an interesting time, where the team is rediscovering how to win. The addition of Luke Parker to the midfield has helped, but it is Wardlaw and fellow early draft picks who will lead the club to their next finals tilt, and questions still linger over what sort of player Wardlaw will be. Is he too one-dimensional to rotate to flanks or wings, like Tom Liberatore? Can he get big enough to survive on the inside for 200 games? He obviously has the tools, now he has to carve himself into a finished product.
