Corey Wagner is perhaps an unlikely conveyance to have bestowed upon him the much-vaunted spitter role, coming off a half back flank and joininig mids to sit behind the pack at stoppages. This was a position exploited for fantasy premium status in recent years by the likes of Rory Laird and Lachie Whitfield, but if Wagner is going to join their esteemed ranks he will need to work harder to get in the right areas. Perhaps it's also that Freo's mids don't use him enough yet, but it's one positional move to watch for fantasy coaches looking for the next top six defender.
