Ben Hobbs has spent the early part of 2025 playing a deep forward role, something which tends to cruel your fantasy scoring unless your team is dominating territory - which Essendon is most definitely not doing at the moment. An injury to Elijah Tsatas last week and the continued absence of other best 22 mids, however, opens a small window for Hobbs and other hopefuls like him to get some centre bounce attendances and put up numbers that might convince Brad Scott to rotate them in more often. Not much joy at Bomberland lately, but plenty of opportunity.
