PLAYER DISCUSSION
David Swallow - dswallow24 - 16 months ago
superstar already - Big Stick - 21 months ago
Will be interesting, but A Swallow is probably the form player of the comp lately, should smash him. Will make the family christmas shower for D Swallow if he does :) - NewFreoFan - 23 months ago
anyone else intrigued to see him up against his big bro this week ? hopefully they will go head to head - Jimbo_11 - 23 months ago
Probably time to cash him in this week. - McLovin_ - 23 months ago
daivd not swallowing much today. needs some advice from big bro.. - wcarey - 24 months ago
Definitely one to get. Perhaps one of the best draftees, debate it here. http://bit.ly/hEtkil - The_Kid_05 - 26 months ago
Better rookies out there that are much cheaper. Look at Iles, Lock, Wallis, GAFF!!! - fivestarmd - 27 months ago
Cheap rookies yes Swallow 180k na maybe doubt it - FLOPITOUT1 - 28 months ago
I think people are underestimating how well gold coast will go. They wont be anywhere near the top 8, but i think they will be OK. They have some real guns and they have a a lot of rookies. BUT these rookies have a huge amount of talent, we will see some absolute magic from them all year, but it wont be consistent magic. Not yet anyway. In 3-4 yrs they will be unstopable when these rookies develop. - Loose - 28 months ago
Im starting to think crazy aswell i dont think his dt average in vfl was all that good 68?.Can he improve on that in the afl in his first season playing in a team that will get smashed.180k starting price and byes in round 1 and 9 he will want to play well in rounds 2-8 for him to go up significantly.Saying that he might be in my team round 1 ill watch nab closely - FLOPITOUT1 - 28 months ago
depends how well u think he will go ill take a stab that he'd end up being worth 475k (SC) at some stage based on the fact that he was the clear no.1 pick, played wafl few years ago and this year did really well in the VFL version of the brownlow hes a definite 4 mine - jozz - 28 months ago
This might sound alittle crazy. But, remember how everyone jumped on Scully, Trengove and Martin last season? All great options in the end, but they all cost so much more than the base price rookies such as Bastinac, Howlett and Colyer in the mids. Is it worth taking the risk and not choosing Swallow or Gaff and going with a Blease, Wallis or Mzungu? I mean, at least 200,0 people are going to have Swallow in their team next season, if he gets injured early on ala Riewoldt, the people without him will be laughing. - migman19 - 28 months ago
Accoring to fanplanner, SC rookies starting price in excess of 200k? did i miss an earlier thread? I seem to recall the last couple of years, top 5 draft picks have maxed at 177k. - Frankdagun - 29 months ago
A LOCK - BigV2011 - 32 months ago

Will be locked into our teams and be a great first-year player like Michael Barlow. - BigV - 34 months ago
