| • Gibbs is hardly a "useless" or "inconsistent" player. He's averaging around 103 points for the year and 110 over his last 5. That's pretty useful and consistent if you ask me. Worth noting that he has had a massive role change this year also, playing off half-back so his scoring is nothing like the caliber it was last year when he played purely in the guts. So while he grows accustomed to his new role, you'd have to expect that it would effect his scoring. And so what if a premium has a dirty day out, he'll bounce back. | • yeh it is when you get 75% of it in 1 week..im just saying that if i had a player get 45 positions one week and 11 the next, without injury etc, i would be pretty disappointed..brilliant that he scored 166 last week but he has to put in an above average game the next week.u cannot tell me that you would be happy with his score of 53, after he scored 166 last week!!! - kiss01 - 3 months ago |

| • i just think that for a player of his value, thats a pretty poor effort..you cant have such a good game one week and then an absolute shocker the next at this level and in a pretty similar role to last week..awesome player, but consistency is something he has to work on.i guess with more afl exposure he will only get better, so that is something to look forward to in years to come. - kiss01 - 3 months ago |
