MID-SEASON REVIEW (posted 2010-06-17 04:07:28)
The Tree, otherwise known as Aaron Sandilands, has been a fruitful prediction for many fantasy coaches. On the back of an impressive year in 2009, Sandilands has become the dominant ruckman in the competition, eclipsing the previous titleholder Dean Cox.

Whether he’s towering above the pack for a mark, or using his formidable frame to get the newly invigorated Freo midfield first hands on the ball, Sandilands has become a stats phenomenon.

Ten of his last 12 games have attracted scores of over 100 in Supercoach, which has equated to a jump in average of close to 20 points a game. Not a bad feat, considering the limited oxygen available at his standing altitude of 211 centimetres.
