    Ash is a firestarter
    A line-breaking defender capable of spotting up targets from miles away, Lachlan Ash averaged 23 touches and five marks in the NAB League, with identical stats at the Championships. While primarily a dashing backman, he has shown that he can push up to the midfield when needed as well. Not that Leon Cameron's squad lack's midfield depth.
    Ash is a ready-made leader who is a high chance to walk into the starting lineup come round 1. The youngster's penetrating kick will be sought-after before long, especially with Heath Shaw's days numbered. The question isn't if but when Ash will explode. A preseason watchlist candidate who, at this stage, presents as a potential free agent pickup.
