Haha pretty simple, if Adelaide want him, they pay up for what SOS wants. If not, he stays!
Then he stays because in our opinion pick 13 and Lyons is already overs. Mitchell is worth 14, and is younger and a better player than Gibbs, so Gibbs should really be worth pick 19, if he was out of contract. But he is contracted so pick 13 alone should balance that out. But we aren't going to be held to ransom by Carlton.

+1 flower SOS and his ridiculous demands.  :P

You're obviously a member of the crows coaching staff then because what you say is what will happen  ::) ::)

He's having an opinion just like you mate, he's just correct that's all.  :P

Also, is it just me, or was the compensation for Mayne a little overs? I don't know how much Collingwood is paying him (I assume a lot), however, besides 2013 I would say Vickery > Mayne (I know that might be a controversial statement)
It is. But it's got flower all to do with ability

Utter bullshower, we get compo pick 39 for Scott Selwood and Mayne gets pick 23?!?  What a farce.  ::)

Yeah does anyone know how they work these out I was not expecting 26 for Vickery ?

If the Hawks seriously want 12 and 23 for Mitchell they must now be sharing whatever SOS is smoking.  :o

They're being cheeky flowers, no way our club gives up anything that high for him!  Ridiculous!

Who said they did?

Wce have already confirmed our first two picks are off the table

3RD rounder should be enough

They'd be getting 23 for Hill...? Not Mitchell.

Agree though, wouldn't get 12 for Mitchell anyway.

Mayne is the final piece in Collingwood's Premiership puzzle.

Like I said earlier on the news they said a 3rd or 4th round

52 or 70 for Mitchell seems a little rough.

Bill Manspeaker

agree it's way overs but I think its got to do with how much the club they're going to is willing to pay

I don't really understand it nor can I be flowered reading the rules on it but I think that's how it works

Vickery and Mayne I'm talking about

Clarkson is the person responsible for the trade not Mitchell he is looking after his mate why would he do that and then demand a high draft pick ? and they need salary space

and it's not like he's going there for long... he'll play 1 or 2 seasons then probably retire

it's all they talked about on trade radio and now on AFL Tonight they start off talking about it

I don't get the fuss. it's not like when Ablett left, or Buddy, he's going there for 1 or 2 years?? why is this such a big thing?

Tyrone Vickery and Tom Mitchell are final pieces of Hawthorn's next threepeat puzzle.
How come the #Cheats at Hawthorn get away with #14 for T Mitch, put it in perspective Brisbane gave up #5 - #25 and Crips to get injury prone Beams from Collingwood

Adelaide cant get #13 done but, surely another second rounder or talent like a Lyons isn't good enough?

Collingwood and Hawthorn, especially have a knack of raping everyone but teams interstate forced to pay much more!
