55 for me...but poised to pounce... ;D

Luigi197

makin the cash early. Filipe Luis downgraded to avoid his inevitable price drop now, also so i can afford Sigurdson before his value skyrockets.

59 ain't bad first up.

I didn't do too badly considering I registered on Friday night and made my team based around what the comments on this thread said. My team is basically a combination of everyone's thoughts. :P

Our advice is top shelf

Just trading Luis this week.

Got all the other midfielders that scored well this week except Sterling but he has City so can wait a week.

If you guys are unaware, the price changing system has changed back to what is apparently was in 2011/2012.

It's much harder to increase in price now.

For example last year;

Let's say 50 000 transfers IN equaled a price rise of 0.1 per day.
50 000 transfers in the next day would also give a 0.1 price rise (100 000 total)
Finally a further 50 000 would give a 0.3 price rise total (total IN being 150 000)

They've changed it this year and it is suspected to be;

Let's say 50 000 transfers IN equals a 0.1 price rise.
The next price rise requires 100 000 transfers in (150 000 total) for a 0.2 price rise.
The final 0.1 price rise to make it 0.3 for the week will require a further 150 000 transfers IN making it a whopping 300 000 total.

Don't forget once they reach he target INs, you must wait for day change for reset (so even if you have 1 million transfers IN in a single day, it'll only go up 0.1 and you'll still need 100 000 transfers IN to reach the next target.

Lastly, as price changes for the week reset on Sunday morning (usually 11.45 am), this will now be the main time prices change. Let's say siggy rises 0.2 and using my example above, is traded into 120 000 teams (not the 150 000 needed to go up that final 0.1 to make it 0.3 for the week, once Sunday morning comes the target is reset back to 50 000 and he will rise 0.1 (with the next target INs being 100 000)

Basically we have to trade early for monetary value and can't wait to see if we pick up injuries on Sunday or we will miss most price rises. It's going to be a very hard season!

It looks like 75,000 needed for first price rise

It changed depending on what that person initially costs and how many people selected him though.
For example
A 4.0 getting 50k transfers in should go up
A 9.0 may not go up after 50k transfers

I noticed that Vlaar, priced at 4.5 didn't go up today but was on 68,000 net transfers in (allowing for transfers out).

Anyway I'm valued at 100.4 currently which is reasonable considering trading is heavier on Fridays and Saturdays.

definitely gonna try for smarter early monetary trades this year. esp making sure benchwarmers don't go to waste.

A lot of transfer action after one round?
Ramsays' red card on Monday not an issue in EPL?

My Chumps

Thought I'd slap together a team last week and ended up doing quite well! Scored 70 this weekend  8)

Thoughts gents?

No idea how pricing works in this game. When do players rise/fall etc? I'm thinking of trading Remy ---> Naismith and then Lukaku ---> Diego Costa
