Because with van Gaal as manager he won't be the coaches pet. RVP is going to be the player he builds the team around, which most likely will piss off Rooney, and I can see him not doing well as he mopes around complaining about not being the main man at old Trafford.

Will play with all different formations pending on fixtures but.

After my WC performance I will probably try my hand at EPL this year. Never watched an EPL game before on tv (watched Fulham vs Sunderland last season when I was in the uk lol)

Van Gaal had success playing 2 strikers at world cup, there's no reason he won't have similar success with a RVP/ Rooney partnership.
