Anyone want to make a draft league?

I've never participated in a draft game, was just reading about it and it seems interesting!

I made a draft league, the code is 54332-16256. The scoring is currently classic, but I can change it depending on your wants. I've set the draft date to Sunday the 6th of August at 2pm (WA time), but I can change it depending on when you guys are available. There are currently 8 spots available, but I can increase the size if we gain more interest.

Back into it again for me for about 4th or 5th year now. Think ill start the forward combo of Lukaku/ Jesus / Rooney. Injuries worry me for Rooney, but he is cheap. Kane a bit out of reach for me- at 12.5 costs a bit too much, by going Jesus instead i can strengthen my mids. Mids im looking at Alli, Fab, Willian and Coutinho for my starting 4. Backs and keepers yet to do. But with 3 defenders starting have about 5.5 to spend on each with 2 4.0 bench coverage players. Keepers will leave me with 8.5 to spend...

Sounds decent enough! Just not sold on Evertons early fixtures, very tough. Will get Rooney in GW7ish!

Yep, I'd avoid Everton at all costs.

With the squad we have assembled, and with us playing competitive fixtures before the season starts so we can gel, the opening fixtures don't phase me  8)

Looks like you've moved it to Monday 5.30pm SA time, I can do that. We still need another 4 coaches at least though!

That's my first draft. It's pretty cookie cutter that way I can just follow the pack for the first 5-10 gameweeks :P

Nice PB. Wouldn't start with two 4.0 defenders though, that'll hurt. If staying with the pack early is your idea (really I find that to be the best strategy at the beginning) then I'd look at Kane with around 40% ownership. But if you're set on doubling spurs mids instead then go for it because they're both awesome picks.
Keep an eye on Coutinhos transfer news too.


To free up 0.5, just do hart to Elliott (he's starting ATM) and then spend the 0.5 getting rid of Rangel (he's not playing ATM so will drop like a stone when the casual players realise)

In my team, I'd rather have him than Gayle. I'm pretty confident he'll score against Man U as well.
