Well hang on, Warner had critics when he started in the test team. He "changed his game" as you are all talking about above during his time in the test team! I see zero problems with Finch playing, at least he actually tries and seems like a good bloke.

PowerBug finally someone see's thing as I do Finch is no different than Warner when he started do it and do it now , but that won't happen lets see how Rodgers goes this week hopefully for us he gets a ton but looking at him scratching around this week can't see it happening
He averaged 48 in this years county championship batting mainly at number 6. He's probably not right for the test team at this stage, Rogers isn't the one though. Cowan has to come in, he's in form, and he's an opener. Bloke only got dropped coz they played him at 3 when Australia had 150000 openers to choose from and no middle order players.

We both think that Rodgers time is up but they will keep playing him then in the middle of the Ashes he will be dropped and all the chat will be about how useless his replacement is  ::)

bring back Dizzy as opener or 1st drop. Last game he played he scored 201*, so he's in reasonable touch  :P

Rogers can play in the Ashes, after all I'd rather England win it :P (As long as Ballance scores like 1000 runs all up)

Didn't know I was agreeing with the enemy more reason to get Finch in there Finch for opener , Finch for Premier , Finch for Prime Minister bloody poms  :P

I just have my favourite players. Finch is one of those that I would give the thumbs up to. Rogers is a thumbs down, as is the majority of the Aussie team to me ;)

Lets hope we can sort our old and injured player problem well before we head off to England but knowing our selectors you can bet dads army is heading that way  :(

Toga

Nothing wrong with an older team so long as it is performing.

Assumed it was a link to the speech lol. Shame that Clarke has gotten himself injured like this, hopefully he can make some sort of recovery.
