You also forgot good picks from GWS like Taylor Adams and Dom Tyson who now play for other teams.

when im saying a player was a bad pick im talking about the club who drafted him.

if you draft a guy pick 10 and then trade him away for not that much (not saying that was what happened with above) and then they become the best afl player ever then its a bad pick by the club who drafted them.

they have had soo many high picks that if they drafted well they would be almost invincible if not for cap reasons.

as an example in 2012 they had pick 1 2 3 12 14 and got whitfield, o rouke, plowman, jaksch, corr

now whitfield is a reasonably bad pick 1 but he was the clear 1 at that stage and is still a fairly decent player.

now pick 2 and 3 were bad and loads of people had Wines rated to be a top 3 pick and stringer was the number 1 pick before getting injured.

the other one was people where screaming out to pick up Grundy and they could have done it with 12/14.

while 12/14 picks werent good there wasnt anyone obvious to pick up

so they got whitfield, o rouke, plowman, jaksch, corr

when they could have got whitfield, wines, stringer, grundy and lets say nothing.

I also think having too much talent has stalled good players too.
