How did Port trade with GC but not manage to hand over Brendan Ah Chee?

If it was our 2017 2nd Rounder it would be a good trade, however, the only way this would be somewhat worthwhile is if we finished in the top 4 and made the prelim next season...

Remember that we didn't have a second rounder this year because of the Dixon trade, so upgrading pick 67 to 30 could be valuable if we nail the pick.

If we gave away Ah Chee instead of 17 1st rounder (Would have to cause more juggling though) or we got 22 and not 30 from GC, it would look better for us.

In fact isn't the Pick 30 that we got back the one we gave to GC for Dixon?

If I had to pick right now whether that 2017 first rounder would be pick 5 or pick 14, I'm saying it's going to be closer to 5 at this stage...
