Ha ha very good but think he might be in the red and blue if he goes just think the Dees will be able to satisfy the Crows demands better than the Pies

Mr.Craig

Gold Coast have thrown their hat into the ring for Dayne Beams, with the Suns reportedly speaking to Collingwood about a potential deal.

Collingwood look to gain the best deal possible for the homeward bound-Magpie, and could easily trump cross-town rivals Brisbane since they have flagged their intentions to offer their two first-round draft selections at 7 and 14 and potentially a player.

Brisbane are not willing to part ways with youngsters James Aish or Sam Mayes, and have categorically taken Tom Rockliff, Pearce Hanley and Jack Redden out of discussions.

Collingwood will also potentially engage another club, reportedly Adelaide, on a three-way deal with the Pies skipper, Scott Pendlebury having already met with Patrick Dangerfield and his manager Paul Connors about a move to the Westpac Centre.

Collingwood's salary cap space has opened up drastically in the past two years with Heath Shaw, Dale Thomas and soon to be Dayne Beams and Heritier Lumumba all walking away from the club, the Pies will have the money to lure Dangerfield with a suggested salary cap space of $1.3 million available.

Just to advise Mr C that Brisbane were waiting till this week to formally speak to Collingwood. The only thing at this stage Brisbane have ruled out are the prems you mentioned and being involved in a three way deal with Crows.

Brisbane have confirmed that they will initially be offering pick 4 and a player (possibly Mitch Golby) for Beams.

Also we have been advised that Ryder will not be coming to Brisbane so expect an announcement from Port this week.

Buckley sounds fairly certain that Beams will definetly not be at Collingwood next year. Wants pick 4 and a ready made player. Can only see us offering a Golby, Harwood, Bewick or Lester

Hawks the frontrunners to get Frawley now apparently

Which has brought about talk/speculation that it could mean Lake is done since he's apparently out of contract.

Don't believe it at all, he's been a key part of going back to back.

Lake said today at the Hawks' post-GF function that he's pretty keen to go around again

Take this with a grain of salt, but yeah, from "AFL Draft, Trade, Free Agency, List and General News" Facebook page:

"Damien Barrett has reported that Collingwood's Alex Fasolo has requested a trade out of the club, despite signing a two year deal midway through the season."

Mr.Craig

There will be 50 players at Carlton next year and 10 at Collingwood...
