As many as four clubs with million-dollar offers circled Essendon's Jake Carlisle last week urging him to leave the Bombers under the drugs "get-out clause" according to the Herald Sun.

The Lions are confident Paddy Ryder, who has two years to run on a contract, will accept a five-year offer worth an estimated $650,000 a season according to the Herald Sun.

Carlton have put a four-year deal in front of homesick GWS swingman, Kristian Jacksch, whilst the Western Bulldogs have reportedly tabled an initial five-year deal.

Surely they will use him as a power forward then? Or they plan on trading Leuy?

Not player news but...

Mark McVeigh is joining GWS as an assistant coach.

Simon Goodwin apparently firming to take over Melbourne after Paul Roos.

Despite circling rumours, Anthony McConville, the manager of Bomber forward Jake Carlisle, says he wants to remain at the club and loves playing at Essendon.
"These rumours are completely untrue and baseless," McConville said.
"I spoke to Jake, and he laughed at the suggestion that he would leave the Bombers."
"He loves the Club, is contracted for next season."

Correct - Will allow Sauce to revert to Defence where his heart is and give us back ruck up when injury strikes.  Although I do not consider him to be the answer to our forward woes.

Vinny

Far out Carlton.

JJK, Dangerfield and Rance for Judd and Armfield

This is when Carlton destroyed themselves and they're paying the price now.

No amount of digging is going to get the Blues out of this hole. Should just have a cleanout and start again.

In regards to JJK, pretty sure we also got a pick from them that landed us Masten :D

Agreed. Higgins and KJ are not the answer.

Mr.Craig

"According to Channel 7's Tom Browne, Melbourne's Sam Blease has requested a trade to Carlton. Browne was the one that originally broke the Paddy Ryder to Brisbane trade."
