2015 Trading Details and will be kept updated throughout the trading period:

Trading will be detailed here:

Trade 1
Pacific give: Brad Sheppard
London give: Rory Laird

Simple trade here we need some midfield depth and with a surplus of defenders trade made sense for depth.

Trade 2
Moscow trade: Callum Sinclair and SECOND Round Pick (35)
London trade: Guess Joe Daniher

With the retirement of Ben Hudson and Daniel Gorringe not getting games we needed another ruck and Sinclair filled the bill.  May be a long term project given he is staying with his club.

Trade 3
Pending
Mexico City give: Mark Baguley, Matt Shaw + Pick 40
London give: Matthew Broadbent + Pick 83

Broadbent created a fair bit of interest and as we needed to get some one with similar scoring to maintain team balance Baguley although older met the bill.  Addition of Matt Shaw also gives added depth.

Trade 4
Pending
Cairo give: Jon Giles + Pick 60
London give: Andrew Mackie + 65

Giles will give us ruck depth and he his looking forward to playing all games for the Royals with Bellchambers. We will have the option of playing both forward as well.

Trade 5
Seoul give: Mark Lecras
London give: Brandon Matera + N29

With the retirements of Brown and Lynch needed a high scoring forward.  Although Matera is younger LeCras brings the scoring ability.

Trade 6
New York give: Will Hoskin-Elliott
London give: Pick 11 and Ben Lennon

Could not pass Hoskine Elliott when he came out and worth the trade of pick 11 and Ben Lennon to secure.  Will give us depth in mids and also a possible forward as well.

Trade 7
NDT Give: N29
London Give: Dan Gorringe + N47

Gorringe has been unable to break into teams and with the opportunity to upgrade picks as well Did the trade.

We currently have 5 Senior and 2 Rookie vacancies on our list.

Current Draft Picks:
29, 35, 40, 60

Rookie Draft:

Draft Details

Pick 6

Willem Drew

https://afldraftcentral.com.au/player/willem-drew/

Summary:
Drew is an impressive player who while he might not stand out with impeccable skills or line-breaking ability, just does the basics right. He will back himself to beat anyone one-on-one and is a clearance machine, just pumping it out of stoppages time and time again. More importantly, he has the versatility to drift forward and kick goals, which sets him apart from other inside midfielders.

Pick 43

Jacob Allison

https://afldraftcentral.com.au/player/jacob-allison/

Summary:
Jacob Allison is one of those players that could be anything. He has the athleticism, the versatility and the penetrating boot that will make him a dangerous prospect going forward. His inconsistency and tendency to rush his disposal when able to take the time to dispose of it will be areas that clubs will be clean to tidy up.
Furthermore I expect he will look to further improve his inside game when at AFL level and build on his bottom-age year. If he can continue his development and live up to the potential that he has shown in glimpses, expect Allison to be a very good player in future years.

Pick 61

Jake Waterman

https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.watoday.com.au/afl/west-coast-eagles/west-coast-fatherson-prospect-jake-waterman-stars-in-wafl-league-debut-20160803-gqkg6t.html?client=safari

https://afldraftcentral.com.au/player/jake-waterman/

Summary:
Jake Waterman is a talented, yet inconsistent forward who is as good in the air as he is at ground level. A clever player who is tricky to match up on, Waterman moves well around the forward stoppages and is able to evade opponents and create havoc close to goal.
While he is more of a longer term option for the Eagles, he will focus on his endurance and conditioning this preseason to get up to scratch and then be able to go harder for longer. This improvement combined with further development towards an inside game will help him astronomically.
