Ringo

Knee injury in 2nd minute. So he may be out for a while.

Mat0369

Damn! That's rough. Maybe Lindsay to Bice next week

Bully

Quote from: Mat0369 on March 29, 2025, 07:00:54 PMChris Scott destroying SC teams

The Knevitt sub has destroyed my week, wish I knew, could have been Ashcroft and not me stupidly trading Trainor. Feel gutted about that.

Mat0369

My team is cooked. Neale is cactus again

Should have got rid of him after the first pathetic outing, won't make the same mistake twice. Daicos the obvious choice, but a decent rookie will be a big upgrade on him.

Mat0369

Libba the other option. It all comes down to a tag right now. Windhager in round 7 looks like the next real heavy one

Mat0369

I broke Xerri. Meek scored 118, Xerri injured. Far out

Think Xerri is fine injury wise, and he scored pretty bad against the good rucks last year also. He just murders the average and bad ruckmen. Think it was the right call maybe just a week early, who knows. Everything you do in SC backfires.

News on Lindsay at least is positive. And F O'Sullivan was much better. Hewett and Knevitt being the sub very annoying.

Round 3

Score: 1933
Rank: 28,587
Round Rank:  25,203
Cash: $18,600

Good: Zorko, Holmes, Bowey, Prior, Trainor, Ashcroft, NOD, TDK, Macrae, Daniel, Davidson
Pass: Smith
Bad: Ryan, Sheezel, Trac, Oliver, Xerri
Ugly: Neale, L. Ashcroft, O'Sullivan, Lindsay, Knevitt, Lalor, SPP, Lynch, Stone

This was a chaotic week, rookies injured or made the sub, premium players disappointing and between all the chaos I think I came out of it with an okay score. It feels like I have a mountain of problems, but it also feels like I'm not alone.

My trades were hit and miss. Parker scored okay again, but I backed Bowey to make more money at a quicker rate and I think I nailed it. Tsatas to Lindsay was a complete waste with the injury. Meek ended up outscoring Xerri and I should have just started Marshall in the end.

Not having Libba after being so high on him is really hurting when he scores 120 every week, but ah well.

Current worries in my side

Sheezel - playing forward and not impacting games enough has seen a bunch of worrying mediocre scores. He was moved behind the ball later and started racking it up.

Ryan - Every time I own him he is a disaster. I am having flashbacks, the one season I started him he averaged 80 odd until I traded him and then he went on to average 105 the rest of the season. I know as soon as I trade he'll bust out 150's every week, but not owning Sinclair is a killer right now.

Neale - Also having flashbacks to 2021 when I started him and he averaged 99 and was sandwiched between two 120+ seasons. The tag has destroyed him, I think the Tigers will send McIntosh to him and maybe he has another stinker.

Trac - 15 CBA's, 23 disposals at 65% with 5 clangers is not good. Melbourne look cooked, but at the same time, he is having bad games and scoring 80 which is a good sign. Again, not owning Libba hurts me right now.

Rookies are all volatile, but cash gen looks to have stalled for a lot of them. It would also be nice to see Lynch not try and belt someone

Trades

Bice and Moraes for ??? and ???

This will likely be based on how long Lindsay is out and the teams

Colliwobblers

Solid round. Not sure I'd worry about Bice given Prior and Trainor are on your bench. Moraes for any of the 6 rooks you have that are underwhelming in the midfield, could pretty much throw a dart...

I'd lean towards campo if still out or one of the expensive guys for a cash grab. Obviously Lindsay if out for a stretch, but if Lalor and O Sullivan are not making cash on your bench holding Lindsay may be the play.

arbel

That is a solid round. It's best 18 still this week so could wait on Lindsay if others fixes are needed

I have the option of playing Holmes in the midfield and I feel like right now Bice is the better scoring option than O'Sullivan/Lalor.

Exactly, happy to sit for a couple weeks because he has looked like the best rookie scoring and will kick start the cash gen again pretty quickly. If it is a 4 to 6 week injury, Langford is also one to consider. He played a lot in the middle and scored an 80 odd.

Mat0369

Rookie watch now that the injury list has come out. I'll try and attach BE after the average if they have played 2+ games. 255k and under players
