Now that Rd 0 has been torn to shreds time for a reevaluation Assuming Lions and Cats play Rd 3

Flynn may come into flex but at the moment $1k short so may do some adjusting, Lynch may become SPP with Flynn Flex.

Dale may also replace NWM.

Rookies I feel am missing Langford if I move from Flex, Erasmus and El-Hawai

Trust Colli is nice and dry.

Colliwobblers

team looks great, you have so much $$$ in rooks you can easily work Flynn in if you choose to.

I don't think el hawai or Erasmus are guaranteed staters. I don't think writing off bo allan is wise either. at least for JS. I rate SPP over lynch for regular scoring and i dont expect regular scoring from kako

Bully

I love the Ridley pick provided he stays on the park, will score well but fingers & toes crossed he doesn't get hurt.

Suns and Bombers are probably going to play some point later in the season. I don't know how the AFL intend to schedule it, both teams would still require a bye mid season (plus they have different byes then as well). The only logical place for that game would be either some rearranging of games to have them both play a Thursday/Friday, play the following Wednesday and then maybe a Sunday. That is a ridiculous turnaround though and I'd be pretty annoyed if I were both clubs that the fixturing is a disaster.

Ridley actually should be Jordan Clark did not realise I had him still until I checked this morning.

Seen a report also that Suns/Bombers may play Rd 14 with adjustments to byes,

Latest team edit and considering byes

Clark for Ridley.
Whitfield for NWM
Serong for Merrett
o"sullivan to Flex replacing Langford
Camporelle replacing O'Sullivan in emergencies,
Do not like expensive rookies on bench,

Prem and mid pricer bye Structure now:
Rd 2 - Whitfield
Rd 3 - None
rd 4 - None
Rd 12 - Sheezel, Xerri, De Koning, Horne-Francis, Daniel
Rd 13 - Clark, Serong, Macrae
Rd 14 - Daicos
Rd 15 - Oliver
Rd 16 - Whitfield, Holmes, Neale, Bailey Smith

Happy to sit on this team

Mat0369

Holmes won't have the bye round 3, team looks pretty good

Getting close to final team

Will adjust Dale if he does not play. And Zorko and Dale may become Holmes and Sinclair

May revert to 2 Rookies on field if Trainor named.

Also still tossing up between Lynch and SPP.

Not a lot of cash though,

Round 12 bye now problematic but not alone (7 prems and mid pricers)

Colliwobblers

Yeah 7 rnd 12 bye for me too. I don't see you regretting having Neale and Zorko from day 1.

Teams look great. Trainor I read will be one of 4 debutants and Lalor will play if he makes it through training Monday, same for Lynch.

No. 21 draft pick Trainor was again dominant as a 195cm key back who wins the ball at will in match simulation on Thursday, with No. 1 overall draft pick Lalor in a non-contact hat, but in exciting form.

"Luke hasn't missed a beat," Richmond coach Adem Yze told the Herald Sun this week.

"His pre-season kind of deserves the opportunity, and we wanted to give him that exposure against Collingwood (in the community series), so we did that and he came on and just fits in nicely.

"To be fair, he has got an experienced back group around him, so it's a lot easier to throw him in there with the support around him, (as) we've got a younger forward profile."

Ringo

At the moment these are decisions I may have to make.

Short/Roberts to Trainor
Rozee to Merrett for bye purposes back to 5 Prem/Mid rd 12
then maybe luxury
TDK back to Gawn set and forget
SPP in as well for Stone or Davidson

Ringo

Been off line for 2 days due to no internet/power.

Catching up with Daicos poor game yesterday and with this 66 in rolling average thinks he has to go and hopefully pick up after bye as price will drop.

Will post first round team after making some more adjustments. Got to decide which is the better strategy for premiums/mid pricers on field 4 defenders + 2 rookies and 5 mids + 3 rookies or 5 defenders + 1 rookie and 4 mids with 4 rookies.  May depend on rookies named in defence With Paton, Reid, Trainor, Leake, El-Hawli or Bo Allen surely 2 will be ok for on field.
Also whether to have Flynn at Flex  in 2 minds.

Mat0369

Daicos to Neale makes the most sense as a starting pick. Otherwise someone like Serong as M1 to start the year

Colliwobblers

I think if Flynn is not a good R2 he's not a good flex either.

Nick could do what Max did last year but I'm Neale/Serong also for him, Neale currently, easy draw early could get out of reach.

I've gone two rooks on field in defense but only because of Prior being one.

Hope your house didn't suffer any damage Ringo, I'm outer north side so completely dodged the bullet.

Ringo

No damage to house Colli only no power or internet for 3 days but all good.

Here is my team pending teams

Only real decision is do I downgrade Gawn to Meek or DeKoning and bring Short back in defence. Reduces rookies on field. Famous last words but I believe I have 14 keepers including Oliver, Smith and Daniel  so comfortable with 9 rooks playing if need be.
