Simmo saying Venables will play plenty of midfield. I'm getting him in and fielding 2 rookies forward. Hopefully Keefe doesn't play so I can use him to loophole
Hasn't left my side since SC opened

Was in mine up until the JLT but I took him out because he was quiet. I didn't see much of the WCE games but can anyone explain his role?
I read an article where they likened him to a Schuey type but at this point in his development & from the little I have seen he looks more like a pacy high half forward type. Impey, AhChee etc.
He'll eventually get more and more mid time as he develops. Will likely start off though as that high half forward type that pushes through the mids, but these comments from Simmo could mean he gets more mid time than expected. 65-70avg. Lock.

Has always been a half forward who pinch hits in the midfield, not sure they can just turn him into Luke Shuey overnight. Quite risky to field every week but a solid bench option.

Adamant

Adam Cerra to play round one and end up being one of the best cash cows of the season ala SPS.

Who are Freo's mids and onballers.    Can Cerra and Brayshaw both cement spots as 1st year rookies?

JPK talking up Stoddart as a real chance to line up Rd1

Then out after a week or two when McVeigh returns. Stod looks good but the JS just isn't acceptable.

Fogarty all the talk in the Adelaide media. No love for Doedee or Murphy. Kelly &/or Keath down back with Seedsman at HBF & Milera & Douglas to accompany Betts. At best one of 'em jags a spot on the bench? Which sucks cos I have 'em D7 & D8 atm.

Didn't think it mattered anymore but Geelong has upgrade Mark O'Connor to their senior list

I've had him at D8 for a little while now due to his DPP, so this is encouraging as he may play earlier than expected :)

upgrading rookies to the senior list means flower all now that rookies can play without being elevated after the CBA changes last year.

Yeah that's what I thought, hence saying it didn't matter anymore, but why are they even announcing it? Weird

Just read that because he is a Category B rookie he does need to be upgraded as opposed to a regular rookie.

Oh right, thought it was weird they were announcing it as well. Positive signs for an early game
