T.Bell ($287k) or Christensen ($267k)??

Currently I have Bell due to having more possies and SC points in the JLT.

I will go Bundy basically because he has the better job security. Bundy will be a slow riser initially as he continues to build match fitness after 18 months out.
Bell more than likely will  make way for younger players with a bad game.  Remember there was no Beams in either JLT games as well and Bell was the one who benefited.

Toby Greene, Josh Dunkley  Naughton in defense vs
Petracca, Toby McLean and 123k rookie in defense??

Just curious is it Naughton vs the rookie? Dunkley and Petrecca fighting for F3/4? And same with greene vs McLean for F2? If so then option 2 for me. McLean a POD and Petrecca should improve.

It would mean McLean going down from F2 to Dunkley at F4 and the cash being used to upgrade Petracca from F3 to Greene at F1 and  upgrading the 123k rookie to Naughton. Currently have Smith and Billings locked in. 2 premos and Sicily at F3 at the moment.

In that case your fwds would be Billings, McLean, Petrecca and Sicily. Looks pretty strong to me. Not many good fwd rookies so you probably need Bundy/Dunkley at F5 and Fritsch at F6.

too speculative IMO, Billings yes but none of rest look like keepers to me so I would rather at least 1 more rookie/premo up fwd

Weitering vs Defensive rookie.

Thinking -
Pod to have Weitering at D4 and with Doch out Simmo will need help. JW is surely that person. 85 BE as a minimum im thinking.

Flip side would be replace JW with a rookie and strengthen F5 and F6.

Just grab a rookie. There's plenty to chose from that will make good money and other lines need the help of midpricers more than defence

Zorko vs Crouch vs Merrett

Not too concerned about their byes, but currently have Merrett and Zorko as they have some extra runs on the board.

merrett, zorko crouch.    I feel crouch has reached his cieling, merrett just silk with the ball in hand, zorko has high scoring capability.

Crouch 》 Merrett 》 Zorko for me.

Crouch, because of the way he plays I think is the hardest to shut out of games and .ost reliable scorer. Can see Merrett and Zorko having more down games.

If Brisbane continue to really struggle I think it helps Zorko though. No teams are going to care if Zorko has 40 and kicks 3 if they are winning by 10 goals, but if Brisbane become more competitive this season I see sides trying to stop him.
