Yeah I don't think I read those, The Eillie Chronicles I think it was called...I think at the point I'd outgrown those books so had moved on to crime novels.

Enjoyed the tribe switch and like the new divisions, liked the twist with the 13th person. RIP my winner pick though. Should have known not to pick her given poker players never do well at Survivor.  :(

I liked Anna cos she was smoking!  :P

Surely Tai's best move was to use the idol to save Anna then it would have left the tribe 3 against 3 and the left over beauty girl would have made them 4 strong!   :-\

I think he was better off not using it to be honest. Scot did an amazing job of talking him out of it though. He actually had a really strong episode all up. Beasted his portion of the challenge, managed to basically stay completely out of being voted off (being a challenge asset helps though).

It was pretty clear Anna was running Beauty alliance though, so they were smart to get rid of her. Tai and Julia aren't as close as what Anna and Julia were. Although everybody loves Tai so I guess that made him hard to vote for.

Peter said he's flip first chance he got and didn't though which kinda surprised me because he seems like the type whose ego would let him do whatever he wanted haha. Can't wait until he finally gets voted out, it's gonna be hilarious.

I'm sure he'll prob argue that he's still ok when Jeff says, "the tribe has spoken", haha!

Long term I think Tai not using the idol screws him, its a matter of time before he has to use the idol and then he's not safe, Scott likes him, but will flip when the idols gone.  Tai would've kept Anna, gained Julia and no way Scott flips on him when he's got an idol knowing that Jason has the other one, a team of Tai, Scott, Jason, Julia and Anna would've dominated and got rid of everyone else one by one.

Tai's leg looked pretty bad, I actually think he could be medevaced at some point so it's not gonna matter imo. If not, or even before then, he'll be targeted for being way too likable. There's no way a jury wouldn't give him the million if he made it to the end. Anyone taking him to the end seals their fate.

Keeping Anna, head of the beauty alliance means that Anna + Julia are reunited and will never turn on each other, give the a couple more eps, they'll survive until the merge and reunite with Michele. Those three would have been able to recruit whoever they want and run the game, because it's hard to take down an alliance of three during the merge.

Scot and Jason are a dynamic duo, come merge they'll stick together. Scott will be targeted come merge time though for being a challenge threat but even making the end won't matter for him because he's a former NBA player and will never be given a million.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is cutting Anna was a smart move, she might have been loyal to Tai and Julia, but once reunited with Michele, they've got the numbers they need to take down most people. This way, Julia's at a disadvantage because even though she knows and likes Tai, the rest don't know her and she's gonna have to prove herself and win them over.

The whole episode made it very clear that both tribes were always getting rid of a Beauty girl (so Michele would have been flowered if ChanLoh lost) and unfortunately for Anna, Gondol went to tribal.

There's a fair bit in the edit, but there's also sooo much we don't see. Like, there had to be more to why Scot + Jason (and Cyd) didn't like Alecia at all. Next week should be really interesting, the preview didn't really give away too much, but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see Gondol lose again and maybe somebody like Peter go.

If Tai does stay I seem him forming a 3some (not in the way Tai would like) with Jason and Scott and being unbeatable with the double idol, then Jason to turn knowing he can't beat Tai against the jury.
