Levi Ashcroft is one of the stronger contenders for the Rising Star award, always a hot topic of conversation among footy fans at this time of year. He is not on the top line, as Daniel Curtin and Murphy Reid arguably have stronger claims based on their body of work., The award is supposed to go to the player who has the highest ceiling of potential, and the younger Ashcroft certainly has a lot of scope left to improve, even if he only becomes as good as his brother. The wraps on him as a junior is that he was better than Will, though we haven't seen that quite yet.
