Averaging 33 hit outs and 76 fantasy points in the VFL last season earned Ivan Soldo precisely one senior appearance for returns of 34 and 66 respectively. Soldo moved up the depth chart with the delisting of Shaun Hampson, which makes him firmly number two and not worth looking at unless Toby Nankervis goes down with injury.

After Toby Nankervis got smashed in the middle of 2017, Richmond brought Ivan Soldo into the seniors to ruck in tandem with him for a while. Then he returned to the VFL in the lead up to finals. With Shaun Hampson returning from injury for 2018, Soldo will again be third in the depth chart, with a couple of draftees for company in the reserves. Do not draft him.
