Alixzander Tauru is almlost literally the Great White Hope for St Kilda's resurgence up the AFL ladder, having only played a handful of senior games but already drawing comparisons with club legends Nick Riewoldt and Trevor Barker, not to mention David Rhys Jones and Peter Knights for his ability to float across a contest to intercept with blonde locks flying. He hasn't got the supreme tank of Riewoldt but he has plenty of courage, an asset which may turn into a liability if he cops head knocks going for too much. We all hope he finds a happy medium between bravery and smarts.
