Clarke's still a knob.

Nathan Lyon's still useless.

We deserve to lose, probably won't but we deserve to

we're not asking him to be perfect, we're just asking him to do his job. if a bloke keeps padding up to balls that are hitting the stumps, one has to be given. you got a bat... use it!
So, he made a mistake. Just like every other umpire has done, just like every other human has done.

There have been shockers both ways, it happens.

So if I wire a house up incorrectly and then it burns down. I just get a pat on the back and told everyone makes mistakes?
Completely different context.

How many overs till we get a new ball anyone ?

Come on Nige, ease up, people are allowed to express frustration.
Nobody is attacking him personally, but he has made a few important errors today. Both ways yes, but that doesn't alleviate the frustration at all.

I'd be more worried about India winning.

Agree shaker and with both batsmen walking across the crease to Lyon it really puts doubt into umpires mind whether the ball will hit stumps or not. Not saying the decisions were right but just saying with no DRS umpire has a split second to make decision as to whether ball will bounce over stumps, hit the stumps or whether hit in line.  Lyon got lucky with some decisions in the first innings to be honest.
Hate it when umpires, who are fallible, decisions are put under the microscope by slow motion replays, hot spot and hawkeye when no DRS is being used. In saying that decisions have gone both ways this test as well.
