Looks like Pup has been ruled out for the series.

I reckon we should look to the future and give Smith the captaincy for the series against India while he has experienced players around him rather than go to the aging Haddin who would be the obvious choice.

After all Ian Craig, who passed away yesterday, captained Australia at 22.

There is still conjecture whether Clarke is out of tests or not with Marsh saying he should be right but physios Pat Howard saying he will miss tests so we wait and see.
