Yeah I had to go look back at my trades to check how the drafts were because I couldn't remember.

I'm just a fan of how the AFL is ran. I only see snake as a viable option during an initial draft.

Consider this year's talent pool is one of the worst ones in recent times, pick 24 isn't going to be as good as it was this past year.

Giving whoever finishes last a potentially dud pick is likely to further hurt them (assuming last has an ordinary team and needs decent talent or a decent pick to trade for somebody decent).

A nat draft should never snake (the exception to this is at the formation of a comp like this) because you're really just feeding a top team high end talent while screwing over the bottom sides. Let whoever finishes last get 1 and 13.

Any coach against this must really have no concern for the betterment of the competition.

I think you will be lucky to get a good player at 13 :-\

Im happy to change it, im all about an even comp don't worry about that (crappy trades will be rejected ;) :-X )

Yeah I think it's better to not snake it and follow the AFL with this otherwise the lower teams will lose value if they want to trade their picks for players.

No idea about 24 and 25 at this stage. Won't be any many over 35 though haha. Been following this draft all year. Top 1-5 is even than 6-25 is evenish and then 26+ poo. haha

Okay ive spoken with GB ... no snaking in the Nat or Rookie drafts. We had snake format for the initial draft which was fine but to keep an even comp for the future this is the best way to go, hadn't really been discussed till now.
