He is (pretty much) single handedly losing me my prelim, to I might add, a team that fielded Tommy Curren (who I just noticed got given an extra 6 points!), and who somehow has players like Steven Morris and Jack Frost on the pine... and is 30147th overall... (my team is currently 214th!).

Really disappointed in Mayne's effort too (brought him in last week along with Lewis!), and to a lesser extent, Fyfe, who really should have gone on with it after half time (Monty jumped the gun a bit on "The Hulk" icon! He went backwards after that!). It also hurts having Crouch's 110 sitting there on the reserves bench, when he has absolutely nothing in reserve :( How ballsy/brilliant would it have been to have played him over Ablett?! :D

Anyway, I'm pretty much cursed to always get knocked out of the finals by spud-worthy teams, no matter how well my team is doing it happens every year without fail!

Edit: I should add that I brought in Bob this week (along with Gibbs, that bloody tease!), and that most of the other decent options in Ellis, O'Brien, Shaw and Pearce (who junked it up nicely in the second half!) all did pretty well and would have probably won me this match :(

Concussion sub?! Wow could the DT gods hate me any more? I bring Mr. Consistent in and straight away he spuds it up. Why could I have gone for Ellis/O'Brien (although no sane DT'er with any experience would do such a trade surely?! My opponent did of course!), and Shaw (ditto the O'Brien comment!).

Ah well, I guess there is always the /wrists option. Not much into that whole thing though 8)

I guess I can at least take solace having a nice overall ranking ::)

Hah, not going too bad then! I'm going to be lucky to scrape 2200 this week! I can't believe that all these spuds in my league are out-scoring me this week though, one guy (who actually has a pretty decent team to be fair) even decided to play Grundy over Roughead!
