Rivals collide in a hugely important match!

Collingwood lose, and finals start looking very murky, as this once dominant side looks murky.

Carlton lose, and they could find themselves three games outside the 8 with only 7 rounds to go.

Malthouse v Buckley Game 2.

T Dog

I will be there witnessing Buxs' mighty pies demolition of Micks bluebaggers... 8)

If Pies lose will Buckley start coming under the same pressure as Voss. Both outstanding players but some of their coaching decisions leave a lot to be desired.

Got that right Ringo..though the press down here are suggesting Vossie is going so badly he may get a new 2 year deal shortly.. :D

The article is in the Brisbane discussion T dog if interested. Hope it does not eventuate though as I could not stand 2 more years.

My Chumps

Think I'm gonna have to tip the Blues; been in much better form over the last few weeks and showed great courage coming back against my mob last week. I think this will be the scalp they're looking for!

I'm thinking the same, I reckon the Blues might get up!

The Pies have been a win one lose one sort of team all season, I am not making a tip until I see the team sheets.

My Chumps

Any chance Carrazzo will be back? Carlton struggle without their carrots.

He played 3 quarters in the VFL on the weekend so you think he would be a good chance of returning. I don't see him getting a lock down job as Cachia and Curnow have been doing this pretty well while he has been out. They miss his clearance work and his ability to block for teammates more then anything. Laidler needs to come into the team but I think McInnes makes his return from an ACL. He is a really good young player, but I still shake my head at how Bootsma gets a game ahead of Laidler

It appears Duigan and Laidler are out of favour with Mick, Ratten loved them though. I'm a fan of Laidler, wish he got more games. Maybe a move will benefit him?

Duigan I can understand, he is not exactly young, his pace be exploited by teams and he has questionable disposal. Laidler I can not understand at all. He is coming off an injury, but he was so critical to Carlton's back half he should be first picked. Form is not the issue either, Malthouse has just buried him in the VFL and he is playing forward. If he left it would not surprise me and it will come back to bite Carlton

Mr.Craig

Since I had to deal with Boyd I'm forced to play Caff again this week. Really hope he can find some of the ball.

Must win game for both teams, I think the Blues will edge out the pies in a thriller.

Is Murphy back yet?
