Must win game for both teams, I think the Blues will edge out the pies in a thriller.

Is Murphy back yet?
Fitness test tomorrow apparently. Wouldn't be surprised to see him named tonight and give him every chance to get up.

I'm not really expecting him to play but seeing as I've managed to snare a seat in a box for this one hopefully he does and it's a thriller! :D

Vinny

Come on Blueeeeessss !! Really need a win. I heard Murphy could play this week wearing a helmet ;D

its me lads

Tipping the blues in an absolute thriller.  8)

Will Harry O being out cause the pies some grief?
He has been in pretty good form this year

If Clinton Young is fit he could slot nicely onto the wing in his place

Mat0369

Scotty out hurts, but it is good to see McInnes, Murph and Carrots back

Thoughts Young copping a green/red vest?

Surely in such a big game and given his VFL preparation they'd be relying on him to run out the game....

Has been a pretty lengthy lay off though.

Mat0369

He has played 3 or so games now at VFL level which is a lot more then Carrazzo's 3 qrts last weekend.

Sinclair, Kennedy or Young are the 3 that look likely vest candidates for the Pies.

For the Blues I think Carrazzo (due to the layoff), Lucas or Eddie get the green. Carrazzo is not someone that will come on and give you run and carry so I am thinking maybe Carrazzo or McInnes are pre-planned red vest candidates and Lucas will get the green as he somehow kept his spot again ::)

I'm sure if you were coach there would be no Lucas, but let's just say you had to pick one from that 22 I would have guessed you'd go Lucas. Just not sure if Mick's mind works the same way.

Would have thought the same about Carrots not being the ideal starting sub about McLean but so much for that...any explanation yet for that time he started as sub? Nursing an injury or something? Doesn't really make a lot of sense otherwise to me.

Mat0369

Of the 22, Lucas would be the sub, but with Eddie having a down patch in form, it would not surprise me to see him be the sub. All I will say is it better not be Yaz.

McLean did not have the best game round 1, but there was no reason as to why he was named as sub. That left me scratching my head as most teams will look to start guys with pace that can break the lines and hit the score board as the sub otherwise it is generally a kid playing their first or second game to ease them in.

this is so bloody hard to tip. i'm on the Pies atm (ugh feel like i should wash my mouth out), but will probably flip a coin tomorrow i reckon

Oh I love it when I get an inside scoop! Marc Murphy unlikely to line up, Nick Graham in line to debut tonight in his place.

Bill Manspeaker

flower that doesn't sound good. hope Murph lines up :-\

Mat0369

That would not be a surprise with Murph pulling out. I would expect Graham to get the vest tonight if he does play. I am seriously surprised that Bell was not named an emergency. He has been tearing up the VFL
