It's back for 2013, The Dreamteam Pick 5 game. This is going to be the DT version of CFs Supercoach PICK 5 game with a couple of changes. I trialled this at the end of last year and will be kicking this off Round 1 this year

Rules
The game is very simple.
-Each week you have to pick 5 players who you think will score very highly in DT.
-Just like the SC version though each week you will pick 5 players but as a change each week you will have to pick a back, a mid, a ruck, a fwd and a captain.
-Each week the only stipulations will be on the captain and they have their score doubled.
-If you see "DPP" after the position then only a DPP player can be chosen. If you dont see "DPP" after the position then you can not select a DPP in that position.
-You may not select the same player 2 weeks in a row, even if you play them in a different position, which means if you miss a week then you can not select players that you have choosen the last round you seleted players
-All new stipulations will be provided by Wednesday night.
-If you name a player such as Selwood/Thompson/Smith etc and don't specify which one you mean, you will receive the lowest scoring one for the round
-Player lists must be submitted before the first game of the round, otherwise they will not be counted
-Please dont modify your team lists after the first game has started as your score will not count

-There are no subs, no toilet breaks and no eating in class. This isn't kindergarten any more.

Scoring
Each round there are up to 11 points on offer, with a max of 8 to one person.

  • 5 points goes to the overall highest scorer for the round
  • 3 points to second highest
  • 1 point to third highest
(NB If 2 people are tied for first they will both receive 4 points, the next person will receive 1 point. If 2 people tie for second they will both receive 2 points and no one will get a point for third.)

There are then bonus points to be had

  • point to the winner if they outscore second place by more than 50 points.
  • 1 point to the person with the highest scoring UNIQUE player (must not have been chosen by anyone else)
  • 1 point to the person who selects the highest scoring combination[/b](Each week i will post the 5 player combination that would have scored to most, if anyone selects all 5 player they will receive a bonus point)

So as you can see a very basic, but enjoyable game. Anyway I'll announce the first 5 stipulations soon and then you can start picking your players. Good luck to all that enter

PS. Remember all credit goes to CF and maca not me (as i basically copied CFs first message from 2012) ;)
