#1
PROPOSED AND APPROVED TRADES LISTING - TRADE PERIOD #1

*TRADE # 1

Sri Lanken Strikers gives: Rockliff, Golby + National Draft pick # 51

PNG Headhunters gives: Gaff, Howe + National Draft pick # 21

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Balanced trade in scoring, potential and age, further balanced (Rockliff) by the pick trade.

*TRADE # 2

Mongollian Lambs give: Luke Shuey + Trent Mckenzie

Austalian Ales give: Steele Sidebottom + National Draft pick # 36

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Balanced trade in scoring, player potential vs draft pick player potential. Trade slightly favors the Ales, but not enough to block and given the talent in this Nat Draft it should balance out.

*TRADE # 3

Hong Kong Dongs give: National draft pick # 16

Tibetan Llamas give: James Kelly

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is balanced James Kelly was a pick 17. James Kelly is already premium and a premium scorer right now, Pick # 16 should become a premium and remain a premium scorer for a lot longer, BUT won't be for a few years yet. The trade is balanced, but was sent back to the coaches based on their lists for further evidence to be provided to me that their lists could support such a trade. Nails was able to show he has talent enough (if just) coming through) and Tbagrocks was able to show he can still field a competitive midfield (if just).

*TRADE # 4

Bangladesh Bears give: Dyson Heppell + Jasper Pittard + NAT pick 2 & 50.

Tibetan Llamas give: Paul Duffield + Dustin Martin + NAT pick 23 & 39.

VERDICT: APPROVED.

The trade is balanced, Heppell is equal in age and ability to Martin but Martin will outscore Heppell a little here duel to goal kicking points. Pittard has a big future anywhere as an attacking defender and a high draft pick himself. His youth and potential rate him as a better prospect long term than Duffield who is much, much older. But Duffield is close to premium defender so a worthy trade for Pittard. To further balance the trade A much higher Pick is given up to the side giving up Martin and Duffield - which is appropriate and acts as the final balance.

*TRADE # 5

Eskimos give: Priddis, Hartlett and Rookie pick Round 5
Lambs Give: Rhys Palmer, Talyor Hunt, NAT draft pick 6

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade favors the Eskinos slightly but that is just an opinion and it is not EXTREMELY uneven and does not provide a HUGE advantage. Pick 6 is a strong balance for Hartlett, Priddis and a nothing rook pick almost equal to Palmer and Hunt.

*TRADE # 6

Sri Lankan Strikers Give: National draft picks 21 and 35 + Luke Brown

Tibetan Llamas Give:  Pearce Hanley and NAT picks 50 & 55

VERDICT: DENIED.

Trade denied on list and even issues, was not resubmitted for approval. Trade Canceled.

*TRADE # 7

Headhunters give: Dale Thomas & Luke Parker + National Pick# 37

Vipers give: Alex Fasolo & Jack Trengove + National Pick# 46

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even.

*TRADE # 8

Folders give: NAT draft pick 11

Tigers give: Nathan Foley

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Similar to the previous trade of Kelly and 16, 11 is better than 16, Foley has 2-3 years more in him than Kelly.
Again trade is not EXTREME UNEVEN, and does not give either team a HUGE advantage over other teams.

*TRADE # 9

Tigers give: Mark LeCras + NAT pick 26

Crocodiles give: Jack Ziebell + Rookie pick 12

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even.

*TRADE # 10

Llamas

give:  Brad Ebert, Heppell, Nat picks 50, 55, Rookie round 1(7) round 2 (23)

Recieve: Wingard, Trengove, Nat pick 5, 31, 33 Rookie, round 1 (5)

Eskimos

give: Wingard, Nat picks 6, 31

Recieve: Brad Ebert, Nat pick 55, Rookie round 1 (7)

Elephants

give: Nat picks 17, 33

Recieve: Nat 6, Rookie round 2 (23)

Headhunters

give: Jack Trengove, Nat pick 5, Rookie round 1 (5)

Recieve: Heppell, Nat pick 17, 50

VERDICT: APPROVED.

For the complexity of it it is surprisingly even all round, certainly not EXTREME uneven nor does it give any one team a HUGE advantage over the other teams in the competition.

*TRADE # 11

Eskimos give: Tory Dickson, NAT pick 47, PSD pick 7
Dolphins give: Daniel Merrett, NAT pick 45, PSD pick 13

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even.

*TRADE # 12

UAE TIGERS give: S Wright + Nat Pick #58

TAIWAN DOLPHINS give: X Ellis + Nat Pick #47

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even enough to warrant no further explanation.

*TRADE # 13

UAE Tigers give: Issac Smith + Pick 10 (ND)

Vipers give: Jack Steven + Pick 37 (ND)

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even enough to warrant no further explanation.

UAE Tigers gives: NAT Pick 42 + NAT Pick 11

VERDICT: APPROVED.

VERDICT: APPROVED.

Trade is deemed to be even enough to warrant no further explanation.

PROPOSED AND APPROVED TRADES LISTING - TRADE PERIOD #2

I will post trades here for people who have come to an agreement to make a trade, but are not making that trade until trade window #2.

These trades are not made yet, they are not approved, and cannot be reflected on team lists. They are nothing more than a gentleman's agreement on a future trade already negotiated and agreed to between the trading teams.

I can give an indication if trades should pass or not but there are no guarantees and nothing is passed until window #2 opens and APPROVED goes underneath the trades.

UPDATED LIST LODGMENT POST TRADE PERIOD #2

Colliwobblers

***UPDATE***

Provided the Initial draft is completed and there has been sufficient time for a minimum trade window of 2 weeks the folling will/must apply;

PRE NATIONAL AXVs DRAFT = All clubs must submit to me their final lists (Senior Only at this stage, no plaers can be on Rookie lists.) The lists must reflect all trades. Clubs must also submit to me their draft picks as they stand after trading.

I will have both these things anyway but it is the DUTY of all CLUBS to do this and submit the lists of players and trades to me for cross checking BEFORE WE CAN START THE NEXT DRAFT.

National Draft for AXVs will take place 1 hour after completion of the AFL National Draft. [ 22nd November 2012 ]

Rookie/Pre-Season Draft for AXVs will take place 1 hour following completion of the AFL Rookie Draft. [ 11th December 2012 ]

A trade window of 4 weeks will be opened immediately following completion of the AXVs Rookie/Pre-season draft.

Following this trade period, ALL Clubs will have 4 weeks to submit to me their final list lodgements.

Final Lists will consist of ;

SENIOR LIST = 40 Players.

(36 Players from the Initial Draft and 4 Players from the National draft.)

ROOKIE LIST = 6 Players.

(1 player from the NATIONAL DRAFT and ALL 5 players from the Rookie/Pre-Season draft.)

* In the event you PASS during the National draft and only pick for example 3 players from this draft ( or if you have traded in players during trade period #1 for your National draft picks), then the following applies.

* The players you trade in for your National draft picks ( up to 4 maximum list movements ) Go on your senior list.

* The players you draft first in the rookie pre-season draft where your Senior list is not FULL go onto your senior list first. Then onto your Rookie list.

THE BASIC RULE OF MAKING UP THE LISTS FOR THIS SEASON ARE THIS: PLAYERS GO ONTO YOUR SENIOR LIST AS PER DRAFTED TO YOUR TEAM OR TRADED TO YOUR TEAM ORDER, SO THE FIRST 40 PLAYERS TO JOIN YOUR LIST GO ON YOUR SENIOR LIST, THE LAST 6 PLAYERS TO JOIN YOUR LIST GO ON YOUR ROOKIE LIST.

Any questions let me know, and remember these dates, as the normal drafting time limits will apply so if you are not around you will be skipped, and potentially sacked if you fail to show up at all or have someone representing your club show up to these drafts. Failing to take part in trade windows is regretable but is also fine, failing to lodge your list after the trade periods will have consequences however so again remember the dates!

#12
The trade limit rule for the pre-2013 season has been repealed and brought into line with all future seasons.

Please check the rules so you are familiar with what the changes mean.

4 list movements maximum in each window.

One window after initial draft and before national draft.

One window after rookie/preseason draft and before first game.

Draft picks for draft picks trades do not count as list movements.

Any trade that involves a player is a list movement, whether it is a player for a player or a player for a draft pick.

That is basically it. You can agree upon and sign an agreement with a rival team for a trade you want to do if you run out of list movements for trade window #1, but you can't actually make the trade until window #2 if you have already used 4 list movements in window #1.

The decision to keep the limit at 4 in each was made to keep this season in line with all future seasons. And was the chosen setup of coaches in the original vote.

Colliwobblers

* A note on trading strategies for those who would have liked to make all 8 list movements in window #1.

* You can agree on a trade of player for player if it does not involve a draft pick, have both parties agree to the trade and LODGE THE TRADE WITH ME. Thus the trade is a "promise" for trade window #2.

* This way any trades that can be put off as they don't involve draft picks can be agreed to for TRADE WINDOW #2, and not made in TRADE WINDOW #1, thus not using up list movements in the all important first window.

* Obviously all trades involving draft picks must be made in trade window #1. as all drafts are over before trade window #2 opens.

* Where you trade a player for a draft pick, or a player for a player that = 1 list movement.
*SO IF you are trying to balance out a trade instead of using a player from each team neither really wants as a balance use draft picks from each team as these will not add to your list movements.

For example instead of Ablett + Gumbleton  FOR Jack + Gunston - Make it Ablett + pick 60 for Jack + pick 2.

Just an example off the top of my head but you get the idea, that is one list movements instead of throwing other unwanted players into the trade for balance which would make it 2 list movements.

ALL COACHES THE AXVS 2012 TRADE WINDOW # 1. IS NOW OPEN.

This trade window will remain open up until midnight on the 11th of November 2012.

All trade proposals can be posted in this thread and agreed to in this thread for me to confirm or reject, or they can be PM to me by both parties.

If you are waiting on a ruling PM me in case I miss your trade in the thread.

Take note of the list of ALL TEAMS national and rookie/preseason draft picks above, and for your convenience all lists also listed above.

As I approve trades, I will update draft picks and players on lists in this thread immediately.

NOTE: I will NOT be updating lists on the draft thread, that is the lists as drafted.

Any questions let me know.
