Wow Ellis, Mitchell and Duncan only rated a 4?  :o :o

Mundy and Stokes only rated a 6  :o

yes it is only 10% of players by position that make elite bracket (9), so not many in that bracket at all.

Above average (6) is only from the top 11% to top 35%

Average (4) is top 36% to top 65%

so very few elite, twice as many above average then 3 times as many average.

below average (2) and poor (1) are the same as above average and elite in reverse (obviously being at the bottom of the scale)

7th :o

That doesn't include Hickey, does it?

click the link you can see your list and the points next to each player total at top, the lists are complete as far as BB and I are aware with every trade period 2 trade processed.

If you think there are any errors please let us know ASAP so we can fix. Some lists are not complete as to the ability to do uneven trades in trade period #2 and the trade period is still open.

I edited my post. Sorry

1 point for Hickey and Patton. #ripped off

Yes they both got ratings of poor :)

if patton played a couple less games you would have got 3 for him as a top 5 draft pick who hadn't played enough games.

the system is floored, but again it was pretty accurate last season regardless....

I reckon Hickey deserves a 2 and Patton a 3 or 4. So up 11 :P

I'll trade them in off you for some spuds i have rated 4 :)

Memphistopheles

Very interesting - we were always going to be the biggest sliders.

I thought we'd be bottom of the list but thank god for the Llamas.

I can't see the premiership ladder turning out like this though. As you said it's only a guide but I think the Crocodiles starting team should push them up to a Top 4 spot for example and def not outside the 8 and also I can't see the Strikers finishing second.

I'm looking forward to watching the top teams battle it out and hopefully causing a few upsets and damaging better teams' chances of making the finals/top 4 :P

Biggest improvers during the off-season,, I think ASADA need to get over to Sri Lanka and do some drug testing.  8)

Ok so all ratings are in and team values are updated for 2014, these are subject to change as we have trading still to do and some teams have a player still to bring in. I have updated the ratings on the trade thread team lists

Here:  http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,86823.msg1199346.html#msg1199346

In summary:

1st: Bears: 184 - down 14 points from 198 - up one place.
2nd: Strikers: 173 - up 13 points from 160 - up 7 places.
3rd: Dongs: 173 - down 21 points from 194 - no change in place.
4th: Tigers: 172 - up 0 points from 172 - up 2 places.
5th: Lambs: 170 - down 16 points from 186 - no change in place.
6th: Folders: 167 - down 32 points from 199 - down 5 places.
7th: Elephants: 156 - up 8 points from 148 - up 5 places.
8th: Ales: 152  - down 20 points from 172 - down 1 place.
9th: Gazelles: 146 - down 18 points from 164 - down 1 place.
10th: Crocodiles: 142 - up 0 points from 142 - up 4 places.
11th: Vipers: 132 - down 24 points from 156 - down 1 place.
12th: Crabs: 132 - up 6 points from 126 - up 3 places.
13th: Head Hunters: 131 - down 17 points from 148 - down 2 places.
14th: Eskimos: 125 - down 21 points from 146 - down 1 place.
15th: Dolphins: 121 - down 72 points from 193 - down 11 places.
16th: Llamas: 107 - down 1 point from 108 - no change in place.

All subject to change as stated above. I ranked the Vipers above the crabs for now simply as the vipers have one less player on their list so if neither team trades the Vipers will move ahead with the extra players points.

Strikers and Dongs also on equal points but both have full lists, s except for trading these teams will stay levelon points, so i put the strikers above the dongs due to the strikers going up points and the dongs going down, but that makes no difference obviously both lists are equally rated.

As you can see from the top 6 (not including the Bears) it is very very close, so if trading happens the list of ratings here could change a lot.

Looks to be a tighter comp this season, with a bit of luck and breaking out the middle and lower teams are much better situated to compete and cause upsets to the favoured teams above.

l think the Crabs will be good for a few upsets this season

I'll change my DP to a Crab if the Llamas finish bottom :o

Points wise, not quite. In the near future? Well that's a different story. :P
