wouldn't stop Swan getting 240 in thsi game, HUGE scores await, he cracked 200 multiple times last season pity the teams who come up against him as captain when he cracks out 480 C. game over, unless you have a captain and vice captain pull out huge ones also.

Ablett the same and Franklin had some mamoth games also 13 goals in sportbet is a game changer in AXVS too imo.

Well I'm fairly happy with our opening round.

Only Porplyzia (77) and Sloane (169.5 as VC) played but both looked decent.

Was able to make a late change and take Zaha out of my team - hopefully he should play a full game next week.

My VC outscored the Lambs VC and I'm fairly confident Gaz can outscore Murphy as C. Going to be a close game though as all the Lambs players looked alright.

Also good to see one of the players I helped get to the Eskimos do well - Howlett gunned it up.

And to think I was *this* close to taking Selwood with my first pick :O What was I thinking?

I was pretty happy to get Jelwood at 16, but you would be insane to pick him at 5. So many better options...

Yep, very lucky to get Swanny at #5. How the hell did he last that long. ::)

Better hope he doesn't go down with an injury or gets done for some stupid off field issue though. That would cause massive problems.

Buddy = not retiring any day soon

Other top 4 picks (off top of my head except GAJ) = younger and brighter future as a result

Buddy = a forward so is nice to acquire instead of another gun mid :o

Take out Buddy's sub game, and he was super dooper last year.

Early days and a bad start, the Texas Walker will be the highest scoring forward

Based on the two games so far - Josh Kennedy is the standout.

Him and Waters the only shining lights in an otherwise poor performance from the Eagles. Cripps not too bad either.

Unlike Walker when Kennedy came up the field he won the ball - took marks everywhere. Didn't get enough midfield service to get balls inside 50 though.

Ballantyne offered a one week suspension for an off the ball incident after an uninspiring first AXV outing. His place may be in danger in the best XV if Rohan Bewick can continue his fine pre-season form.
