Mid Season Review

After 10 games the Ales havent yet hit their straps. Whilst consistent (lowest score of 1711) the Ales have failed to pull the scores out when needed and are currently sitting a dismal 10th with 4 wins and 6 losses. After hitting rock bottom by losing to the crabs the Ales hope that the 2nd half of the season will be more fruitful and a finals push could be on the cards. Consistency could be an asset if they make the 8.

Round 1: Ales came against early premiership favourite Manilla at home and almost pulled off a great win but like most of the season, just fell too short.

Best: 5: D Pearce 4: G Birchall 3: S Mumford 2: A Monfries 1: B Guerra

Round 2: Rd 2 sees the Ales travel to Laos to take down the Elephants which they do narrowly winning 1773 to 1687

Best:  5: G Birchall 4: J Blair 3: L Breust 2: A Monfries 1: D Pearce

Round 3: Ales go huge setting the record at the time score of 2080 as they took down the lowly Vipers

Best: 5: L Hodge 4: G Birchall 3: C Masten 2: L Sheuy 1: JP Kennedy

Round 4: Ales couldnt back up their 2000 score going down to the impressive Lambs 2007 to 1760

Best: 5:G Birchall 4: L Breust 3: L Sheuy 2: C Masten 1: N Jones

Round 5: Ales get back on the winners board with a convincing victory over the Gazelles, winning 1812 to 1529.

Best: 5: L Sheuy 4: S Mayes 3: C Masten 2: JP Kennedy 1: M Jaensch

Round 6 Just getting the job done against the mediocre Eskimoes.  1847 to 1656.

Best: 5: C Masten 4: L Sheuy 3: L Hodge 2: L Breust 1: J Waite

Round 7 Rock bottom losing to the Crabs 1796 to 1719.

Best: 5: JP Kennedy 4: L Hodge 3: J Blair 2: L Breust 1: T Mckenzie

Round 8 And the rot continues losing a tight close one against the Striker 1853 to 1835. Pretty much an 8 point game.

Best: 5: JP Kennedy 4: D Pearce 3: L Sheuy 2: C Masten 1: D Wells

Round 9 And the tigers kick us out of the 8 in another heartbreaker, 1842 to 1790

Best: 5: C Masten 4: J Waite 3: J Gunston 2: D Pearce 1: L Sheuy

Round 10 Playing well and losing again, top of the table Dolphins just too strong, bloody Ablett. 2108 to 1890

Best: 5: L Breust 4: L Sheuy 3: JP Kennedy 2: C Masten 1: S Mumford

Nice JB. 8) Surprised that Shuey polled so well, I thought Masten would've been the clear winner.

Birch would've started like a house on fire, but then came along the tags. :P Oh and the injury.
