Why is everyone on FF going for an Assistant role at USA :P It's mine  >:(

I can tell you now for 100% certainty that you wont get that role Q. I know who is 1st on their list. :x
I'm not really too disturbed if I don't get the role. I'm just keen to get involved in a community for the first time.

Check out the 19 year old I just landed.

Yes, 42k is probably too much for a medium, but he can bat, field and decent secondaries and experience. Yes, I see that fatigue, nothing one week of resting can't fix. And he has over 5300 spare rating points!
Thoughts?

His secondaries aren't that good RB. I try and get all my players secondaries to at least avg b4 19. Definitely a bit expensive there.

His alright but u need him rel/rel at the end of the season if u want him to play for ur seniors.

Better than most of my youths :P

And he has 5,300 SR and was training bowling tech so should pop/double pop soon.

Hmm he seems ok RB, but maybe a little expensive.
I bought a rel/rel medium with bouncer talent last week for 45k who has the same level of fielding and endurance, but 1 level worse for batting and power

0.1   2   Carter to Treacy : [dropped] Oh dear. Treacy has sent the ball high into the air. Mauger positions himself under it and... oh no, he's dropped it! Let me tell you, if looks could kill, Carter would be on trial right now.

nice start on a crumbler with some wind

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/commentary.htm?gameId=1300321

6.6   W   Carter to Treacy : That's plumb! Treacy is checking the edge of his bat as if to indicate that he got something on it, but the replays show he was nowhere near it. Off you go son!
P. Treacy lbw b. W. Carter 35 (23b 3x4 1x6) SR:152.17

1/74 from 7

8.2   W   Martin to Aitken : Looping flight from Martin, but Aitken reads it early, dances down the track to get to the pitch. His attempt to slam it straight back over the bowler's head only results in a simple catch for long on.
B. Aitken c N. Hall b. G. Martin 51 (26b 4x4 1x6) SR:196.15

>:( I NEEDED YOU TO SURVIVE THE INNINGS >:(

2/87 from 8.3

12.1   4   Cumberland to Sandford : Sandford gets a thick inside edge on the ball, which must have grazed the leg stump on its way down to fine leg. Cumberland thought he had his man there, but the bails stay put and the result is four frustrating runs against him.  :D

12.5   W   Cumberland to Sandford : A flighted delivery by Cumberland and Sandford spots his chance, steps forward and drives in the air... however he doesn't hit it cleanly and Carter takes a good catch above his head while running backwards at mid-on.
P. Sandford c W. Carter b. A. Cumberland 23 (14b 1x4 0x6) SR:164.29

JUST NEED SOMEONE TO SURVIVE THEN I CAN GET TO 200  >:(

French my finisher is in with 6 overs left hopefully he can take us to 200

End of over 19 (17 runs) - Cicjose(204-3) RR 10.74

    End of over 20 (8 runs) - Cicjose(212-5) RR 10.60
E. O'Connor 3 (2b) , D. French 37 (22b) , F. Hills 4-0-34-2

19.6   2   Hills to O'Connor : A good ball in at the feet of O'Connor but he flicks it well through midwicket. They get a run easily, but Martin is eager with the throw and hits the stumps. The ball deflects wide of the backing up fielder and the batsmen steal another run.

19.5   1   Hills to French : French flicks that comfortably off his pads for an easy single.

19.4   1   Hills to O'Connor : Nice shot by O'Connor through the covers. They'll pick up a single.

19.3   W   Hills to Longney : Gone! Edged onto the stumps and bowled. Terrible shot by Longney there. Hills is ecstatic with that wicket!
B. Longney b. F. Hills 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

19.2   W   Hills to Sim : [catch] Nicked and gone. Goodbye Sim, well done McLean.
W. Sim c S. McLean b. F. Hills 60 (32b 5x4 1x6) SR:187.50

19.1   4   Hills to Sim : Superbly timed shot from Sim and it goes straight past long on for four runs.

I did call French in to finish the job which was pleasing  8)

My spinners all did exactly the same thing more or less

Bee is still number 1 after this (even tho Bee has taken 1 wicket in his last 3 games)

J. Moritz 3.1-0-11-1

E. O'Connor 3-0-11-1

W. Christian 4-0-13-1

my first 3 youth games will have been against the bottom 3 sides :(
