I'm looking forward to my youth game with Shaggy tomorrow.

I thought I was going to get thumped but in the process of buying backup for next year I have temporarily strengthened my youth team :P

Last rating I got was a massive 60k.
Will be interesting as my recent signings will probably bring me up to roughly 70k :D

Which is roughly around mine. However I am playing 2 16yos a 17yo and an 18yo or 2. Plus my batting isn't great, only 2 solid bats and an all rounder.

I'm debating whether I should just work with what I've got from now on & put as much into my academy as possible or try & buy my way to the top... hmmm... Whats easier? lol

BOOMZ I'm personally going with 2 or 3 good established players (over 22) the rest young. I think it is more fun when you get attached to the players and train them up from 30k to superstars.
That way the players become more than just letters and numbers.

Boomz, Im just going to buy my youths for a while. Next few seasons at least while building up a few young ones.

It takes a long time to build your academy up. I'm slowly building it up. Better to buy solid straight away contributors and do what Alex said :).

This is what I did when I started. Bought quite a few 19 y.o's who are still with me (Goss and McFarlane still get games). Bought two 20 y.o's who both get games for me (Mayne and De Smeth). I loved watching them grow. I've grown quite attached to them and love that I didn't buy guns from the get go. And it is very hard to sell them. Sold Manou to Daz as I know he was going to a good home. Otherwise, he was one of my first buys also!!

I really could develop Horrocks, but if he would sell for 50k....
Boyle is my development project, same as Rammohan. And of course Baloch. ;)

My project is Grey. Been doing pretty well recently. Took 3fer in his most recent SOD game and took 5 wickets in my T20 8)
Then again, all of my players are sort of project players :P

Sayers sort of a project. High rating but that is because of his secondaries :P
After a fielding pop going to put him on bowling training to try and get a pop or two (going to take a while)
He will be scary if I can get that, assuming he pops in tech during this he would be exp/exp. 8)

Yeah but will need to pop in fielding this week if he has any hope of making it by EOS next season (He'll be turning 25)
