Anyone concerned enough with the forecast weather tonight in Perth to bypass Grundy as VC? Only had 1 mark last week which limited his score, and you'd think the wet conditions would again limit his marks.

The combination of this, Neale getting the DeBoar tag, and not having Gawn has me worried this week. I'm not sure I can trust anyone else.

I just know if I avoid Grundy he'll go 130+ and then Neale will go low.

Gawn C locked

VC is tough - like you say Neale has de Boer and although Grundy only has Fort he's been a bit underwhelming so far

That said, the wet conditions could result in a lot of stoppages, so possibly a lot of hitouts for Grundy

Danger, Grundy and Macrae are the 3 I'm considering. Even with de Boer I'm still considering Neale too

Going Danger VC, then ?? for C ATM.

Looking at Neale into Gawn

Biased no doubt but based on the fact Neale wants to step up after last weeks 3rd quarter debacle.

Full interview if interested.

More reason for GWS players to target him even more haha. It will be an interesting game with Coniglio under the pump and having to prove himself this week and Neale wanting to step up.

A bit worried myself with no Gawn, but still going Grundy VC with a fairly low ceiling and lots of stoppages.  If it fails it'll have to be Macrae or Mitchell I think...Docherty bounce back?

I hope so with Dochers, but I wouldn't risk with captaincy :-X.

I went Danger over Grundy for VC tonight, now to see how it pans out.

Not sure what I was worried about :P

Feels good to not have to worry about who to put the C on this week :)

Whew, less pressure to bring in Gawn now and can fix up other areas.

With you there JV.  Yesterday afternoon I had brought in Gawn as upgrade from Pittonet.  In the end traded Rowell and Sloane for Danger and Simpson.   Have 758K in the bank and got good scores from both as well as Noble getting a game.   In fact Noble being a late in gave me some more options down back.
