Favourite Moments This Year:

RD:
Don't have one - plenty of banter and laughs though :)

Nige:
Levi threatening to send the Superlatives to everyone but me.

Toga:
Smashing Pacific twice this year. It felt good in the regular season but boy did it feel good in the finals. Especially with UTM talking plenty of big game beforehand. Just couldn't match it with Beijing's big guns 8)

MajorLazer:
When I found $10 on the ground

GoLions:
When Ben Griffiths retired, knowing I'd have that spot free on my list next year, I can't even begin to explain how good that felt. Remember, #VoteGriffiths for the coaches award guys xoxo

Boomz:
Dublin getting smashed in the GF

iZander:
Dillos beating dublin and berlin

Edgelord:
When I verbally abused and rattled Holz in the lead up to Toronto vs Dublin in round 3, before destroying him at his precious Crooke Park to the tune of 195 SC points.

Holz:
Caleb Marchbank revealing himself as Dublin's Plant to take Seoul down from the inside.

Jroo
Seeing our future Captain James Worpel debut

Purple 77
The semi-finals!

Dazburg
jeez been a tough one for us, probably our last 6 weeks performance up spike

Ringo
Getting the first win

Ricochet:
LOL RD and UTM going at it this week

meow meow:
Outscoring both NDT and Pacific in the semi final week.

Hellopplz:
Not particular moment as I was missing for a fair chunk, but the banter (when not abusive) was probably one of the most active in recent year It has been a good read throughout the year.

Torpedo 10:
Moscow beating Toronto against the odds in THE UPSET OF THE YEAR!

Version 3

Welcome everyone to Awards Night 2018. It has been my pleasure to host the past 3 years and hope that you all have an enjoyable night. Remember to get on Discord for all the chat, reaction and live entertainment! I wish you all a blissful evening and I hope that everyone enjoys the show. The primary chat will be happening in the "WXV" Discord tab but also check into the "Music" tab and "DJ Relton's Rave Cave!"

This Awards Night may not have the glitz and glamour of those past. You may be wondering why? Levi are you slipping? Have you lost it? Do you deserve this honour? Perhaps the answer to these questions will be answered later tonight.

As you all know tonight we give out the highest individual honour which is the "Jim Stynes Medal." The pinnacle of individual awards that only a few have achieved. Just 3 men in history if you can believe that? Just a few days out from the Grand Final as well, this night has all the makings of an absolute game changer!

Jim Stynes Medal History:
2012: Gary Ablett
2013: Gary Ablett
2014: Gary Ablett
2015: Todd Goldstein
2016: Patrick Dangerfield
2017: Patrick Dangerfield

Take Special note:
If a player(s) is tied for the highest scorer in any game, or the 2nd or 3rd highest, the RANDOM function in Microsoft Excel decides who gets the highest amount of votes. For example: Katie Brennan and Tayla Harris both score 155 points each, which was the highest individual score of that game. The RANDOM function in Microsoft Excel awards (at random) Tayla Harris 3 Votes and Katie Brennan 2 Votes.

As the night rolls along Purple 77 will be announcing other esteemed awards such as the All-Worlds Team, Reserves All-Worlds Team, Rising Star Winner, Coaches Award and of course the Coach of the Year.

Levi's Big Announcement Will Also Come TONIGHT!

Round 1:
Guest Speaker: Gary Ablett

The WXV Season kicking off! Isn’t it just great? Who could forget this week? Meow kicked us off with a bang! Opening up the thread over 4 months before the first game started! Those write-ups were something epic I tell you what! And the matches were too! Dublin beat NDT and Lance Franklin led Berlin with an astonishing 175! And gee I wish I was still at Rio or Toronto with those delightful team graphics gracing our eyes not only this week but all year long.

Round 2:
Guest Speaker: Tim Taranto

In Round 2 Seoul scored a casual 179. Whilst the most intriguing game ever occurred between London and PNL with just 201 total WXV points scored. Dublin, Pacific and Toronto also flexed their premiership muscle. Also take a look at Luke Ryan’s 3 vote performance. Interesting to note he scored the 3 in his game but would not have received a single vote in any other game this week.
