Not always, DE often well down. Scaling plays a bit in these contests.

Yes and no. Depends on type of players. Also different teams/players perform better than others in the wet Geelong used to play better than most.

Key position players esp fwds may suffer. Contested mids and rucks can score well due to more stoppages.
Overall, it does affect disposal efficiency in general but contested beasts can make up for it with ball winning and tackles.
