Baily Fritsch could be out. Has anyone got any more information on this?

For all to take note just remember all clubs when playing at home list emergencies in both competitions as teams are required too. However they have extended benches as well to counter.

Is there any doubt on Guelfi being named? Need to make the trade Saturday if I'm going to do it. Would be a disaster if he wasn't named though

+1 on this. Thoughts from Essendon fans appreciated.

It is encouraging that he isn't named in Essendon's VFL side, who are playing Saturday:

Essendon

B: 10. A. Francis, 14. J. Ridley, 57. N. Hind

HB: 41. B. McNiece, 30. B. Zerk-Thatcher, 27. M. Redman

C: 77. H.  Hocking, 39. T.  Mynott, 34. J.  Long

HF: 51. A. Boyse, 38. S. Draper, 20. J. Merrett

F: 33. J. Laverde, 44. S. McKernan, 19. K. Mutch

R: 22. M. Leuenberger, 4. K. Langford, 37. D. Clarke

Int: 61. W. Berry, 68. N. Dixon, 60. B. Fennell, 64. J. Harrison, 59. A. Heppell, 24. J. Houlahan, 69. A. Marklew, 79. J. McQueen, 72. J. Ottavi, 70. J. Sheahan, 66. K. Strachan, 55. D. Younan

23P: 75. T. Crosbie

In: K. Strachan, J. Ottavi, B. Fennell, J. McQueen, J. Harrison, A. Francis, J. Long, T. Crosbie, K. Langford, A. Marklew

Out: L. Lavender, P. Ambrose

Does not rule out the possibility of Guelfi being held over as an emergency however...

I'd say it's between a 95 and 99% chance that he'll line up against Collingwood. We won't make any unforced changes from the side that beat Port, but one bad game and he's on very thin ice (much like Begley) - Clarke and Mutch are banging on the door behind him to get a game, Langford is waiting to get back into the side, and he might even be one of the guys to get a rest/managed between the Collingwood (Wednesday) and Melbourne (Sunday) games.

Good point about the short break would rather wait till he is playing his 3rd game.

Spoke to someone connected with Essendon's VFL team this morning and he had nothing but good things to say about Guelfi and said he reckons he's got every chance of forging a great career at the top level because he just goes about everything so well.

Yeah ive heard good things too. If he’s playing like this they won’t drop him.

Is Coffield's js really that good? Webster is due back next week, surely he's best 22. The only other player I could see making way in the backline would be Gilbert.

I need a downgrade with Fritsch likely out and Rata, Crowden and Henry are still cheaper than Coffield. I'm not thrilled about the scoring potential of any of them but Henry's js looks pretty good with Hendo and Taylor not due back any time soon.

Bones Bombers

I was just made aware of a first gamer from last week I had completely missed in Jordan Cunico from Geelong.
I didn’t watch as many games last weekend.
His 109 seems to have gone under the radar. Not cheap at $188k though.
Can anyone give us some info on this young fella?

Looked good, with Gaz out I'd expect some more games in the middle. The price is the only problem, reckon you'd be better going Guelfi.

Yeah I was telling a mate I plan to bring in Guelfi and Mirra next week all going well and he mentioned Cunico. I had completely missed him!

Not sure he is dropped though Hope Fritsch is out,  have him on my bench in AF RDT and SC.  will hurt those that are relying on him to score.

Cunico $188,600.. expensive for a cash cow..

Anyone looking to trade Doedee in the near future shouldn't bother.
73 points at HT!
He's definitely taken Levers intercept role nicely.

Yeah none of the back rookies will be ready next week for Mirra
Might have to to go Fritsch>Mirra via Garlett and Finlayson

Doedee and Finlayson making Def solid scorers week in, week out.   Brought Mirra in this week for L Fogarty from Adelaide,  cash used on lobb to Gray.
