does North not have any rookies worth looking at? thought they would since rebuilding

We've got a lot of those second third year types who are just getting games for experience. LDU and Ahern were both locks before the JLT, but Ahern isn't going to play for the first few weeks of the season and LDU was really disappointing in JLT, which made a lot of people turn to Brayshaw. LDU will be close to winning the Rising Star simply because we have about two good midfielders. So yeah, not too many rookies, more youngsters just getting games.

You'd think so. We went from the oldest team two years ago, to the second youngest team this season. If we didn't play Waite another year we would be the youngest. We should see atleast 4-5 debut imo.   LDU      (rnd 1 surely)
                                                                                                      Murphy
                                                                                                      Ahern
                                                                                                      Hayden  (injured atm)
                                                                                                      Walker
                                                                           and maybe           Narrier.

Supercoach site has just made it easier for everyone with no idea by putting up tags by the best options.... and warnings by others such as Higgins.  >:(

What are people doing with Banfield?

Concerned that both Hill brothers are out and he makes way once they return

I feel like we should pass on him, but I also feel like he's worth the risk as probably one of the best cheap rookies available

Tough decision

The injury list on the AFL site says Stephen is 1 week and Brad is a test.

I will look elsewhere if other rookies are named, but at the moment he's in for me.

Potentially could play his way into a spot over a fringe player, but the Hill factor is a little concerning.

I'm starting both Freo rookie mids in the hopes atleast 1 plays or continues to get games

I personally dont think Banfield would be first dropped, kid looks like a talent.

Agree.

Would wanna see a hill named this week for me to feel more comfortable picking him.  If both out he will lose his spot.

That just depends how he plays. If he does well he will stay in the side reguardless of who comes back

A lot of Fogarty love after his JLT2, he's even made his way into my team too. But surely he's straight out next week for Tex if he does line up round one?

Rookies traps are fun tho. Rewards the people who actually have half a brain. Fogarty/Stephensen will sky rockey in percenatges and will be lucky to get a price rise out of them till later on in the year. Only trap i'll pick is Banfield cause i believe he'll actually have a chance to break into that 22 over some of the guys past it as he looks a talent.
