4 solid forwards

Any thoughts, opinions and feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks guys..

HoleMeal

Thanks MC.

Martin in the ruck is probably the only pic (apart from rookies) that I am not 100% sold on but it DOES allow you extra $$ to spend on other lines.

Money Shot

Yep! Good team with some nice pods. Well done :)

Ringo

Nice Team with some pods Well done - Will be set if both Caddy and Heeny fire from Rd 1.

uncleswagy

one of the more rock solid squads ive seen in these forums

$200 bucks left is minor concern but i wouldnt stress out too much about it.

like the call martin over goldy. i wanna do that too but the north supporter inside me wont let it.

never knew grundy was battling shin splints either, wouldnt wish shin splints on the worst of my enemies haha, annoying stuff that doesnt go away

Glenmaggie

Really solid team, I like it a lot.

My only concern is Heeney and Caddy. Both could be great options but not sure how close to top 6 forwards they will be. Maybe trade them out and upgrade to one more super premium Mid like Treloar.

But really, great team! Good luck

HoleMeal

Thanks for the replies guys.
Will leave team for now until JLT starts.

Round 1 team finalised-

DEF- Doch, Laird, Howe, Marchbank, Hampton, Hibberd (Stewart, Otten)

MIDS- Danger, JPK, Treloar, Fyfe, Neale, Murphy, Beams, O'Meara (SPP, SPS, Barrett)

RUCKS- Nank, Sandi (Preuss)

FWD- Dahl, Greene, Roughy, McCarthy, Houston, Butler (Eddy, Pickett)

$8400 left.

Happy enough with Howe. Would prefer Adams' score  :(

Murphy was my gut pick. Did well but not getting carried away.

Not sure whether to keep Pruess at R3 or get Strndicia for $20k less and loophole option??

McCarthy my other 'roll of the dice' pick.

Ringo

Go with gut on Strnadica. Is perfect loophole option especially if you had JPK or Murphy as VC

Unfortunately had VC on Treloar  :(

HoleMeal

#11
2121 points for round1.

Below average I would think.

BLUE = No concern
RED = Concern

Really going to watch how McCarthy and Greene bounce back this week.

Greene could become Steele and McCarthy could become Hannan very easily.

HoleMeal

Won't be trading this week.

Will watch Hannan this week to see if he has another solid game.

Next week could be Roughy/McCarthy to Steele/WHE.

HoleMeal

2307.

Traded out Neale for Oliver. Only did the 1 trade to raise some $$.

This week looking at -
Trade Roughy out, put Nank into fwd line, trade in Witts.
And McCarthy to WHE.

HoleMeal

OK so I am really stuck with what to do this week.

Definitely want WHE in, so am thinking to trade out McCarthy instead of Pickett, straight trade.

My second trade, if I do one is tricky.

See the below options.

1. Roughy out, Nank down to fwd line, Witts in ruck.

2. O'Meara out, Hibberd down to mids, Adams in def.

3. Roughy to Higgins or Buddy.

4. another option??

Thoughts guys....
