That on top of JB Jnr is some pretty damn good contracts in the last week!!

With Shaw gone (and Esky the year before), who is the likely running/rebounding defender? or will the role be shared?
The article looks at Laidler, I would have thought Rampe or even Jones are likely to play a part here?

meow meow

Jones is shower, Rampe and Laidler already have their roles in the team. Mills will play off half back.

Capper

yeah they tried jones and it didnt work. Really bad disposal efficiency, although Shaw was also bad so it might be a like for like.

Hard to say, McVeigh has only just started running, Rampe might be a chance if Talia starts in the 22. Not sure where Mills, Titch, Heeney and Lloyd have been playing in the trials

Draftees Mills & Leonardis very good off HB on opp sides. Both composed & sharp under pressure #SwansIntra

I assume we won't see too much of a change in role for Rampe?

Just having a browse of his fantasy scores and he hit 120+ three times last season with another couple of tons thrown in too but had some revolting sub 50 scores too...

Capper

If Talia comes in then that frees him up to take Shaw's role. But there is also some talk of Mills playing off HB

I noticed there was some stuff about Z.Jones vying for that role too. Should be interesting, has proven he can score insanely well on occasion!

Also just read that Macca will be coaching the team this weekend.

Is this the last year for Macca playing as a Swan??

Would like him to go one more year to get to 300

Jones was tried last year and failed massively. Dont know if they will try again. He was terrible at disposing the ball
