I personally wouldn't be paying a lot for him at this time of the season.  $100k tops is what I would pay.  Most players by now have at least average fielding and can then focus on primaries for the next few seasons.  You have to spend about 3 - 4 weeks to get his fielding up to average and then you are half way through the season.
