DRAFT IS NOW CLOSED

72 players, 4 picks each (there will be 72 players. If less, rookies will be added. If more, the players left over will go to the rookie/pre-season draft).

Options for the National Draft:
- Select just as a normal draft
- Opt to automatically select the highest drafted player available. You can choose this option anytime (i.e. select your first 2 manually, and than opt for automatic). PLEASE let us know if you plan to go automatic, it will make the draft go quicker.

Rules
- You have 24 hours to pick, 2 hours if you have been online during the 24 hours. If you don't pick, you will automatically receive the highest player available and can not change.
- You can choose to pass. This will give you an extra pick in the rookie/pre-season draft. I.e. If you pass your first round pick #8, you get an extra first round pick AFTER pick 8 of the rookie/preseason draft first pick.
- Jaeger O'Meara and Brad Crouch - the Under 17s - can be picked at anytime in this draft.

Obviously, an odd number advantages the first half of the draft and disadvantages the second half. I'm not hugely fussed but I guess the easiest solution (if we needed one) would be to have 4 rounds and put the remaining 15 draft picks into the rookie draft?

TheMailman

All of this sounds good

Just posting here so it comes up on my new replies thingy

Holz when does it start, cause HP hasn't been on since yesterday at 2pm

I feel round 5 isn't that important.  I wanted 5 so people could have 30 players from the 2 drafts. Plus the national draft order will be reversed again so the second half in this draft will get better picks so i think its fair.

i dont see any harm in opening it now i guess than. OK draft officially starts whenever HP takes his pick. If he takes over 24 hours for some reason he will not be skipped.

1st pick is always hard. Seeing as our forwards are stacked, and Random.org went for this guy as well, I'll be happy to announce Chad Wingard as first pick.

Just because I don't sign in, doesn't mean I don't check up every now and again ;). Was out yesterday and doing other stuff today.

no problem i knew you of all people would be on. Was just giving you the benefit of the doubt in case people asked for you to be skipped.
