I notice that our boards have rarely been kept up to date, so have decided to my best in keeping records up to date for the Hooods:

2022 finished 4th and made it to the Grand Final, unfortunately losing:

Backs - Saad, May, B Cox, T Atkins, Kolodjasni, Brad Hill, Fox, Doedee, J McGovern, Duryea, Wilson, Chesser, Fleeton and Weddle

Mids - Macrae, J Berry, LDU, Drew, Sheed, X Duursma, R Atkins, Poulter, O'Brien, Carroll and Hough

Rucks - Naitanui, Williams and Jamieson  (an unsuccessful attempt at handcuffing - not much help when all 3 get injured)

Forwards - Coniglio, Moore, Rayner, C Cameron, D Smith, Zurhaar, Cumberland, Taranto, Higgins, A Waterman, T Berry, J Waterman, R Garcia, Lloyd, Ginnivan and Amiss

Following the demise of a couple of teams, we welcomed the Luke's Parker and Shuey; and a couple of rucks Draper and Goldstein

2023 finished 6th and made it to the Preliminary Final, again, unfortunately losing:

Backs - Saad, May, B Cox, T Atkins, Kolodjasni, Brad Hill, Fox, Doedee, J McGovern, Duryea, Wilson, Chesser, Hough and Weddle

Mids - Macrae, J Berry, LDU, Drew, Sheed, O'Brien, X Duursma, R Atkins, Parker, Shuey, O Hollands, O'Neill and D Howe

Rucks - Naitanui, Draper, Williams, Goldstein, Jamieson and Lynch

Forwards - Coniglio, Moore, Rayner, C Cameron, Zurhaar, Walker, Hawkins, Switkowski, Cumberland, Taranto, Higgins, Waterman, T Berry, R Garcia, Lloyd, Ginnivan and Amiss

I have to say on taking on this team, they possessed a very strong forward line supported by a better than average midfield. Our weakness was our rucks, which continues to this day.

A welcome to new boys Edwards, McAuliffe and Johnston, who remain on the list.

2024 had a shocking run with injuries and an unfortunate fixture saw the Hoods play very few times at home (a fixture anomaly), with crowds not willing to travel in British XV's. We finished 11th and finished 11th after participating in the consolation finals series.

Backs - Saad, May, B Cox, R Atkins, Kolodjasni, Fox, Doedee, J McGovern, Miller Bergman, McCabe, Hough and Weddle

Mids - Coniglio, J Macrae, J Berry, LDU, Drew, Sheed, X Duursma, T Atkins, Parker, Taranto, O Hollands, Poulter, McAuliffe, Edwards and Chesser

Rucks - Draper, Williams, Goldstein, T Campbell and Cox

Forwards - Moore, Rayner, C Cameron, Zurhaar, Walker, Hawkins, Jamieson, Switkowski, Cumberland, Brad Hill, Higgins, Waterman, McEntee, Ginnivan, Koschitzke, McAdam, Johnston and Amiss

Major injuries to Sheed and Doedee and injury absences for a number of weeks to Coniglio, Saad, Taranto, May and Hawkins together with Jack Macrae getting the dreaded "Bevo" saw a complete drop off of the Hoods with the only redeeming factor being a first time Priority draft pick at the end of the first round of the 2024 draft- a welcome to Sam Marshall and hope that in a couple of years, he can get into the Brisbane midfield. An even bigger welcome to Sid Draper and hope he fulfills his potential. Other newbies include Tauru, Molier, Jack Whitlock and Davidson, whilst the rookie draft produced Bramble, Reidy, Visentini, Ned Long and Lefau, to spice up our rucks and defenders.

With 8 rucks on board, there surely should be some progress shown there in 2025
